Proffers is an offers-discovery platform that allows people to browse Offers and public Store information, save Offers, follow Stores, receive Alerts and notifications, and submit or manage Store content where account permissions allow.
Location notice: Proffers uses the country and region selected by the user. This feature does not collect precise GPS coordinates or continuously track a user's physical location.
Depending on how you use Proffers, you may provide:
When you browse as a guest, the application may store the identifiers of your selected country and region locally on your device. These selections are used to personalize public Offers and Store discovery.
Guest selections are not automatically linked to a Proffers account. When you later sign in, a valid guest selection may be adopted only under the conditions implemented by Proffers, such as when the account does not already have a saved browsing location.
When you are signed in, your selected country and region may be stored with your Proffers account. Proffers uses these selections to show relevant Offers and Stores and to determine region-relevant Announcement Alerts. You may change the selections through the application.
Facebook Login is optional. You may use another authentication method made available by Proffers instead. When you choose Facebook Login, Proffers requests only the permissions needed for authentication, currently public profile information and email access.
Depending on what Meta makes available and what you have shared, Proffers may receive:
Proffers does not request your Facebook friends, posts, messages, contacts, birthday, advertising profile or other unrelated Facebook information. A matching email address is not, by itself, used to silently merge a Facebook identity with an unrelated existing Proffers account.
A Facebook access token is used temporarily to validate the login and retrieve the permitted profile fields. Proffers does not retain that Facebook access token as permanent account data. Proffers may retain the provider name and provider user identifier so future Facebook logins can identify the correct Proffers account.
Where Sign in with Apple is available, Proffers may receive the Apple account identifier and the name or email address that Apple provides. Apple identity information is used to authenticate and identify the Proffers account. Proffers does not receive or store your Apple password.
When Facebook provides a profile picture and your Proffers account does not already have an avatar, Proffers may download and store a copy in Proffers-controlled storage for use as your Proffers profile image.
Proffers does not continuously synchronize this copy with Facebook. A later Facebook login does not silently overwrite an existing or manually supplied Proffers avatar. The stored copy is handled under the Proffers account-deletion process. At present, Proffers may not provide a separate in-app control dedicated solely to replacing or removing an imported Facebook image; you may contact support regarding your profile information.
Proffers may process records such as:
These records are used to provide personalized discovery, saved content, Store following, relevant Alerts, unread counters, aggregate Store analytics, security and normal service operation.
When notifications are enabled, Proffers may process a Firebase Cloud Messaging device token, an application installation identifier, device platform, optional application version, last-seen information, notification preferences, delivery status and identifiers used to prevent duplicate delivery.
Device tokens are technical routing identifiers. Proffers uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver mobile push notifications. Announcement Alerts may be sent because you follow the relevant Store or because your selected region matches the Announcement's target region. Offer notifications remain subject to the notification preferences and business rules implemented by Proffers.
You may change notification preferences in Proffers and may also control notification permission through your device settings. Device registrations may be revoked or deactivated when Firebase reports that a token is invalid or no longer usable.
Proffers may process IP addresses, request information, timestamps, application errors, authentication events and security logs required to operate the service, investigate faults, prevent abuse and protect accounts.
Proffers does not sell personal information. Limited information may be processed or shared only as needed with service providers that support the operation of Proffers, including:
These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Proffers does not control Meta, Apple or Google's independent processing. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or to complete a function requested by you.
Store owners may receive aggregate analytics about their Offers. Proffers does not provide them with the identities, email addresses or personal profiles of individual viewers solely because those users viewed an Offer.
Proffers retains personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, keep an account active, maintain security, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, satisfy legal obligations and complete pending deletion or support processes.
When an account is finalized for deletion, Proffers removes, revokes or anonymizes account data according to the implemented deletion workflow. Some limited records may remain where needed for legal, security, audit, fraud-prevention, business-integrity, operational or backup purposes. Such records may include anonymized or restricted links to country or region records, social-identity records, interaction records, business content, logs or other records that cannot immediately be removed without affecting legitimate operational or legal requirements. Invalid device registrations may be revoked or removed.
Depending on the features available to your account, you may:
Revoking Facebook permission does not automatically delete an already-created Proffers account. Deleting your Proffers account is also separate from deleting your Facebook account.
Account-deletion instructions are available at https://proffers.app/data-deletion/.
Proffers uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect account information. No online service, transmission method or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Proffers is not knowingly directed to children below the minimum age permitted to create an online account under applicable law. Proffers does not currently provide a separate parental-consent workflow.
Proffers may update this Privacy Policy when services, legal obligations or data practices change. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page.
